Some career highlights you won’t find on my resume

1. I was once employed as a dancing potato to promote an all-spud restaurant in Cleveland, Ohio.

2. I had a brief, but lucrative career, as a foot model.

3. I was personally congratulated by Dr. Ruth, a celebrity sex therapist, for winning a Clio award.

4. I studied at Dunkin’ Donuts University—to get background information for a sales video I wrote and co-produced.

5. As part of my research for a newsletter, I spent a full day “working” at the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant.

6. In my spare time I write about murder and mayhem. My short story, Confession, was published in an online magazine, and I’m currently working on my novel, Betrayal, a mystery about a woman who gets embroiled in a volatile love triangle and then disappears without a trace.
